August 11th Music

Theme: The Call of Faith

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."  Hebrews 11:1-3

I Surrender All

All five verses from the hymnal are used.  Verse 4 is acapella.

I Will Follow

Tom will be out this Sunday, so no bass bowing.  Slow piano introduction.  Low voices drop out on the "Ohs".  Jeremy establishes the beat on guitar on the first chorus.  Back to slow tempo and softer sound after the bridge.  On the last four "I will follow"s, Amy sings the "Ohs" with the singers.

  

We Believe in God

Our version!  On the chorus, it is the third "Jesus" that is short and goes down.  

That's What Faith Can Do

For the offering.  It will be in the key of G instead of D.  Amy is singing the bridge with the other singers echoing the "that's what faith can do".
